Cage Warriors inks seven fighters to multi-fight deals

mick-sinclair.jpgCage Warriors’ exclusive roster of talent has grown following the recent signing of seven fighters to multi-fight deals.

The organization, which streams its events on MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com), today announced 18-month, five-fight deals for Steven Ray, Shaj Haque, Mick Sinclair, Carl Noon, Lawrence Fitzpatrick, Bryan Creighton and John Redmond.

Officials haven’t announced bookings for any of the competitors.

Ray (12-4) made his lone Cage Warriors’ appearance in early 2012 and suffered a submission loss to Assan Njie. The Scottish lightweight then won three consecutive fights before a March loss to Curt Warburton at BAMMA 12.

Haque (3-0) an undefeated flyweight, has fought twice for the organization. The English fighter picked up decision wins over Oliver Battell and Kris Edwards.

Sinclair (12-3), an English lightweight, has fought three times for the organization and knocked out Josh Dennis at Cage Warriors 37 in 2010. It’s part of his current 8-1 run.

Noon (7-2), an English middleweight, makes his organizational debut. The fighter was on an seven-fight win streak before his September loss to Jack Marshman at BAMMA 7. He has past victories over Bola Omoyele and former Cage Warriors champion Chris Fields.

Fitzpatrick (3-0) makes his promotional debut. The English featherweight has posted three first-round knockouts in his three career bouts.

Creighton (3-1), an English flyweight, heads to Cage Warriors after fighting for a variety of U.K. promotions with three wins in four fights.

Redmond (4-7), an Irish welterweight, recently made his promotional debut and suffered a submission loss to Piotr Ptasinski at Cage Warriors 55.
