The news comes on the heels of the announcement that former Bellator women’s strawweight Felice Herrig has inked a new multi-fight deal with Invicta FC.
Former Bellator fighter and women’s MMA pioneer Megumi Fujii also recently announced that she would retire following an Oct. 5 bout in Japan.
Aguilar (15-4) is currently on a six-fight winning streak. She last competed at Bellator 94 on March 28, defeating Patricia Vidonic by split decision.
Eye (10-1) last competed on June 1, defeating Carina Damm by unanimous decision. She is currently on a seven-fight winning streak.
With the recent releases, Bellator MMA no longer has female fighters on its roster.
