Yousefi got a quick triangle tap.
Round 1
Freeman hits an early takedown out of a tie-up and works to pass
Yousefi’s half-guard while framing up a kimura on the right arm.
About 40 seconds into the round, Freeman takes full mount, and it’s
only a few seconds before Yousefi surrenders his back. Freeman
starts working for the rear-naked choke, holding Yousefi in place
with a body triangle. When Freeman switches to an armbar, Yousefi
busts loose and scrambles back to his feet. Two minutes into the
round, Freeman shoots another double-leg, but Yousefi sprawls on
this one and shoves Freeman to the canvas.
After a few right hands to the ribs, Yousefi wants Freeman back up.
Freeman catches a kick and knocks Yousefi to the ground, but when
he dives into guard, Yousefi is waiting with a triangle. Yousefi
tightens the choke and squeezes, forcing Freeman to tap out.

Round 1
Kelades puts the fight on the fence but it’s Gordon who brings it
to the ground, moving from the clinch to mat with a trip. Kelades
quickly sweeps to the top and leans right to left in side control,
drilling Gordon’s body with knees. Now it’s Gordon with a sweep,
rolling Kelades over and setting up in his guard. Kelades controls
the action from underneath until he’s able to explode out of the
bad position. When Kelades throws a high knee, Gordon catches him
off balance and drags him to the ground again. Kelades attacks with
a heel hook, can’t finish and winds up on his knees with Gordon
socking him in the head with right hands. More rights connect for
Gordon as the 130-pounder stand up. Kelades goes for a single-leg
against the cage, and Kelades makes him pay with elbows to the side
of the head. Kelades completes the takedown in the final 10 seconds
and takes mount just before the bell.

Gordon's grappling wore Kelades down.
Round 2
Gordon is taken down again early in round two, but again he
executes a fast sweep to top position. Kelades powers back to his
feet and the fight continues on the fence. Kelades tries some knees
in the clinch and backs Gordon toward the fence, but Gordon dumps
him to the ground. Gordon stays on top for about 30 seconds but
doesn’t do enough to stay there, and the fighters are stood up by
referee Brian Beauchamp. Kelades attacks with another knee in the
Thai plum, then a standing elbow which seems to wake up Gordon.
“Malcolm X” is on the offensive now, first attacking with punches
and then climbing on Kelades’s back and dragging him to the ground.
Kelades puts his back to the canvas and now it’s Gordon leaning
right to left in side control. Gordon attempts a kimura in the
final 30 seconds and then finishes the round trying for a no-hooks
rear-naked choke.

Round 3
The fighters stay standing for the first minute of the final round,
with Gordon sticking some stiff jabs while Kelades loads up for a
homerun shot. Gordon threatens with a standing guillotine and gets
taken down at the base of the fence. Kelades leaves a little too
much room in Gordon’s guard and gets overpowered as Gordon pushes
forward. Midway through the round, another sweep lands Kelades back
on top, though neither man is offering up much in the way of
offense. Gordon takes top position with 90 seconds to go, and 45
seconds later jumps into full mount. Gordon slaps on a triangle and
drops to guard, trying to find an angle to finish the choke.
Kelades frees himself and stands to try a last-ditch guillotine
before the final bell.

Round 1
Bussieres shoots for a single-leg takedown but Meisel defends with
his back to the fence. Meisel reverses and hits a double-leg of his
own, but Bussieres snares him in a guillotine on the way down.
Meisel pulls his head free and wraps his arms around Bussieres from
open guard. Two more guillotine attempts from Bussieres fall by the
wayside as Meisel remains heavy on top. Bussieres struggles back to
his feet and is pinned against the fence with an underhook, then
taken back down. Meisel tries to take the back, can’t get his hooks
in before Bussieres stands again. Meisel keeps Bussieres pressed
against the fence, working elbows inside and punches to the body.
Bussieres tries one more guillotine attempt in the final 30 seconds
but only winds up pulling Meisel on top of him.

seconds into the round. Meisel appears calm as he puts his head to
the canvas and socks Bussieres’ body with right hands. Meisel yanks
his head loose and drops back for a heel hook, but the lock isn’t
set before Bussieres drives forward and takes top position. Meisel
sweeps straight into full mount with three minutes on the clock,
then jumps on the back of Bussieres. It’s a high back mount as
Bussieres stands and leans over, trying to dump Meisel. Despite the
awkward position, Meisel hangs on and uses right hands to bust
Bussieres back down to his knees.

Meisel shoots against the fence and Bussieres once again attempts a
guillotine choke. Meisel easily withdraws from this one and pushes
Bussieres against the fence again. Another takedown puts Bussieres
on his seat at the base of the fence, with Meisel controlling the
position and landing the occasional short body shot. Bussieres
stands and reverses to exhaustedly hold Meisel on the fence for a
change. Meisel turns it around and leans on Bussieres while referee
Ivan Svec calls for action. Meisel obliges with a short elbow
strike upstairs, and Bussieres gives him a couple right hands in
return. Meisel hits one last takedown for good measure before the

Round 1
Rogers takes the center of the cage while the southpaw Miles moves
around the outside, firing off kicks at the body of “The
Professional Predator.” Rogers tries to catch a kick as he works
his way into punching range but Miles takes back the limb before he
can be taken down. Rogers stings Miles with a right hand on the
fence, so Miles bursts off the fence throwing punches of his own.
They trade low kicks, and Miles continues to kick at Rogers’ guts.
A pair of punches tags Rogers as he steps into range, so he wades
out and comes back to clinch. They tumble to the ground and Rogers
holds down Miles’ head as they stand, just missing with a legal
soccer kick. Miles initiates a clinch on the cage, paused to
replace his mouthpiece. As they split, Miles connects with a left
and then shoots for a late takedown. Rogers thwarts the shot and
dumps Miles on his head before the bell.

be the fresher fighter, as Miles moves around the outside with his
hands by his waist and then flops to guard. Rogers wants him back
up. Miles is backed up against the fence when Rogers leaps at him
with a flying knee that lands square on the chin. Miles collapses
against the cage in a heap and referee Todd Anderson rushes in to
stop the contest.

Round 1
Sandro comes out aggressively with powerful punches, while
Horodecki probes the range with his jab and tries to kick from the
outside. Hard body kick lands for Horodecki. Sandro returns fire
with short hooks and uppercuts while coming inside, but the IFL and
WEC veteran gets free from his grasp. Horodecki now coming forward,
while Sandro tries to ward him off with heavy overhands. Horodecki
lands another salvo of kicks, but Sandro clips him with a heavy
right hand. Horodecki shoots for a takedown, but is stuffed. He
closes the distance on the Brazilian and keeps looking for the
takedown, inviting clinches. Sandro looks for one of his own, but
Horodecki grabs the fence to stay up. They separate, and Horodecki
lobs more kicks while Sandro just glances with punches until the
bell.

Round 2
Horodecki remains the more active fighter, throwing his lead hand
out and looking for low kicks, but he isn't locating Sandro. Sandro
continues winding up on right-handed power shots and despite not
landing clean, is still making Horodecki look for strategic
takedowns. Horodecki shoots again and Sandro rips him with several
stiff, short right hooks and uppercuts. Horodecki turns and runs
away from his opponent, seeking space. Sandro walks him down and
shoots a double-leg. is stuffed on the shot, but turns the corner
and tries to hop on Horodecki's back. He can only sink one hook in
and Horodecki is able to shake himself free. Sandro loads up and
swings before the bell but can't land clean.

Sandro almost earned the tap late.
Round 3
Horodecki starts the third with a big head kick that goes wide. The
London, Ont., native is continuing to look for kicks to the body
and legs. He goes low, but Sandro catches his leg, tripping him
along the fence. The Nova Uniao fighter can't hold him down, but
does land a series of short right hands. They clinch along the
fence, jockeying for position with knees, before deciding to break.
Horodecki is getting aggressive now, as he senses Sandro might be
tiring. He comes forward with his jab and tries to shoot, but
Sandro stuffs him and takes top for himself.
Sandro quickly moves into half guard and is working on a tight
arm-triangle choke with just over a minute to go. He is squeezing
without passing to the side, but Horodecki stills looks like he's
in trouble. He clings to Sandro's near leg and finally breaks the
grip. He rolls and Sandro locks the arm-triangle choke up from the
bottom a la Jeremy Horn on Chuck Liddell before rolling him back
over and squeezing until the bell.

Rossborough circles to his right around the perimeter, cuts the
other way after absorbing a leg kick and runs into a flurry of
punches. Rossborough fires back, but Butler steps back and then
clinches up to take down Rossborough. The big men are working at
the base of the fence, Butler posturing up and busting through
Rossborough’s half guard with elbows. Butler’s offense slows until
midway through the round, when Rossborough kicks him away and hops
up. Rossborough catches Butler coming forward and drops “The
Silencer” with a clean left hook counter. Butler hits the deck and
turtles up as Rossborough takes his back and rolls him away from
the fence. Now in the center of the cage with 90 seconds remaining,
Rossborough starts working for the rear-naked choke. Butler fights
off Rossborough’s hands and escapes from a close call. Rossborough
misses with another RNC before Butler whips his head back, smashing
into Rossborough’s jaw with a flagrant headbutt. Rossborough looks
a bit dazed as referee Graham Bettes pauses the action and calls in
the doctor. Rossborough is cleared to continue, and referee Bettes
takes one point from Butler before restarting the action with both
fighters standing up. Rossborough stuns Butler with a left hand on
the temple and tries to finish by bombing with punches against the
fence. Butler answers back with a pair of huge uppercuts in the
clinch, but Rossborough steps back and hits Butler with two or
three more to finish the wild opening round.

the focal point of an awful fight.
Round 2
Butler sticks a left hand in Rossborough’s face right after the
bell, then closes the gap to take him down at the foot of the
fence. Rossborough tries to wall-walk out of the position, maybe
angling for an armbar. Butler stays heavy on top, though, and
postures up to smash Rossborough’s face with right-handed hammer
fists. Rossborough is just stalled out with his legs on the fence,
Butler maintaining side control with little work going on. Halfyway
through the round, Butler straddles Rossborough’s head and
considers a kimura, but Rossborough fends it off with hands
clasped.
Rossborough goes to his knees and Butler moves to north-south
position, where he spends most of the final minute. Referee Bettes

shot, Rossborough gives up and gets shoved to his back. It’s Butler
on top, laying flat in Rossborough’s half guard, with three minutes
remaining in the fight. Butler passes to side control on the right,
then north-south position, all the while dropping short punches and
elbows on Rossborough, who either can’t escape or doesn’t have the
energy to try. Rossborough does manage one good punch off his back

Zaromskis sets up on the outside and circles to his left, waiting
for his fellow southpaw to wade into the pocket. Anderson offers a
few kicks and tries to clinch but gets pushed away. He’s doing well
to dodge Zaromskis’ crips two-punch combos in the opening minute,
but Zaromskis starts to find the mark with his right straight soon
after. Anderson is keeping Zaromskis on the outside but the
Lithuanian is finding success with straight punches. A short right
on the chin sends Zaromskis to the ground momentarily. When he
stands, Zaromskis is on his back foot, avoiding any follow-up
offense from Anderson. Zaromskis backs up his man with a left hand
and tries to follow with a head kick but misses. Anderson hits the
deck after taking a left hand to the body, and Zaromskis gives him
time to recover by standing and kicking at the Canadian’s legs.
Anderson stands with 10 seconds left, still guarding his right
side, and has to fend off a flurry of punches and kicks.

Round 2
Zaromskis punches Anderson out of the pocket with a left hook,
marches forward and tries again for a big head kick. Anderson slips
this one, too, and comes back to land an outside leg kick. Anderson
tries to tie up, gets pushed away and hits Zaromskis with another
hard low kick. Zaromskis throws a low kick from an awkward angle
and catches Anderson on the cup. Referee Todd Anderson deems the
foul accidental and the fight resumes after a minute. Zaromskis
catches Anderson changing levels and clips him with a flying knee.
A stiff jab knocks Anderson backward, while Zaromskis stays
relatively still in the center. Zaromskis catches his man with an
uppercut on the end of a three-piece combo, tries another flying
knee and this time only grazes Anderson’s neck. A jab and a low
kick spin Anderson around, so Zaromskis repeats the sequence three
or four more times as the final 90 seconds of the round tick down.
Anderson dives on a long double-leg in the center of the cage and
gets sprawled on, then allowed to stand. Zaromskis slaps Anderson’s

When Anderson tries a takedown, Zaromskis sprawls all over it and
stands when Anderson pulls guard. The sequence repeats, and this
time Anderson is slow to stand up. He just gets out of the way of a
Zaromskis flying knee midway through the round. The next leg kick
from Zaromskis has Anderson hopping away. Zaromskis stuffs another
