UFC Fight Night 40 takes place May 10 at Cincinnati’s U.S. Bank Arena. The bulk of the card is expected to air on FOX Sports 1 following prelims on UFC Fight Pass.

Tumenov recently made his promotional debut following an eight-fight winning streak (that included seven knockouts) in his native Russia. However, at UFC Fight Night 36, he suffered a decision loss to Ildemar Alcantara.
Lapsley, meanwhile, made his long-awaited UFC debut in November. The EliteXC and Bellator veteran was on an 8-1 run, which earned him a UFC contract. However, in his promotional debut at UFC 167, he dropped a decision to Jason High.
