Oft-injured former light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz will collide with “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 8 winner Ryan Bader in a featured matchup at UFC 132 “Cruz vs. Faber 2” on July 2 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Five fights are now official for the event, which will air live on pay-per-view.

Ortiz last appeared at UFC 121 in October, when he dropped a unanimous decision to Matt Hamill at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. Winless in his last five appearances, the 36-year-old Santa Ana, Calif., native has not won a fight since he stopped hall of famer Ken Shamrock on first-round punches in October 2006. Ortiz -- whose career has been threatened by back and neck injuries in recent years -- owns notable victories over Brazilian icon Wanderlei Silva, one-time International Fight League titleholder Vladimir Matyushenko, the late Evan Tanner and former UFC light heavyweight champions Forrest Griffin and Vitor Belfort.

A decorated amateur wrestler, Bader was a three-time Pac-10 Conference champion and two-time All-American at Arizona State University. The 27-year-old Reno, Nev., native finds himself on the rebound for the first time as a professional mixed martial artist after he submitted to a second-round guillotine choke from Jon Jones at UFC 126 in February. Wins over Pride Fighting Championships import Antonio Rogerio Nogueira and UFC veteran Keith Jardine anchor Bader’s resume.

A bantamweight title bout pairing champion Dominick Cruz with Urijah Faber will headline UFC 132. The event will also feature three pivotal lightweight matchups: George Sotiropoulos vs. Evan Dunham, Dennis Siver vs. Matt Wiman and Melvin Guillard vs. Shane Roller. Other matches rumored but not yet signed for UFC 132 include a middleweight showdown pairing Silva with Chris Leben, a welterweight tilt pitting Carlos Condit against the unbeaten Dong Hyun Kim and a featherweight duel between the surging Erik Koch and Cub Swanson.
