Shavkat Rakhmonov is a true phenom in MMA world. He became the national, Asian and world MMA champion when he was only 18. When he won all WMMAA titles, Shavkat turned pro and won against every opponent there. Now he is already UFC fighter, Rakmonov proudly represents his country and M-1 Global where he fought and won for a few years. Tonight we go back to 2016 in Baku, Azerbaijan, where was the international MMA event M-1 Challenge 67. Shavkat was only 19 at the moment, his pro record was 5-0. His opponent was two times older and had much more experience in combat sports, it was BJJ black belt and Storm Samurai champion Marcelo Brito from Brazil. Russian fans remember him after his hard-fougth five round battle against Murad Abdullaev. He beat the highly ranked UFC and Pride veterans, such as Gleison Tibau and Hiromitsu Kanehara, no one was able to finish Marcelo in MMA fight. It was a real war between the youth and experience.
