Video: Bryan Caraway argues his case for title shot, believes he's 5-0 in UFC

Dominick Cruz is next up for UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw, but Bryan Caraway doesn’t want to be left out of the conversation.

Caraway (19-6 MMA, 4-1 UFC), who’s ranked No. 14 in the USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie MMA bantamweight rankings, meets No. 5 Raphael Assuncao (22-4 MMA, 6-1 UFC) at UFC Fight Night 54 on Saturday.

In the weeks heading into the bout, which airs on FOX Sports 1 from Halifax Metro Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, the two title hopefuls felt they were possibly fighting for a shot at the belt. Former champ Cruz is going to at least delay those plans following his impressive return at UFC 178, but Caraway is still confident he’s deserving.
