“The Ultimate Fighter 18” winner Julianna Pena was arrested early Sunday morning after an alleged bar fight in Spokane, Wash. The UFC is looking into the situation.

Online arrest records show Pena spent about 12 hours in custody at the Spokane County jail and was released Sunday afternoon. She is charged with two counts of assault, which carry a punishment of up to one year in jail and a $5,000 fine.

According to a post on the Sherdog forums, Pena was involved in a fight outside of a downtown bar and was taken into custody. Pena’s coach, Rick Little, did not immediately respond to a request for comment, and the fighter could not be reached.

“We are aware of the situation and are in the process of gathering more information,” a UFC spokesperson told MMAjunkie.

Pena (7-2 MMA, 3-0 UFC) most recently fought in October, outpointing Jessica Eye (11-4 MMA, 1-3 UFC) at UFC 192 in Houston to earn her third straight UFC win. Afterward, she called out then-champ Ronda Rousey.

In a 2014 interview, Pena described a bar fight that resulted when she touched a woman with a fake zombie hand and was pushed to the ground. Her teammate, “TUF 15” vet Sam Sicilia, reportedly knocked out three men before they fled the scene.
