This past Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 106 card in Brazil was not without its exciting moments.

But for one flyweight fighter, it may be the event he looks back on as making the biggest difference in his surge up the ladder.

Ray Borg (11-2 MMA, 5-2 UFC) took a unanimous decision from Jussier Formiga (19-5 MMA, 5-4 UFC) in hostile territory on the main card. Formiga went into the bout as the No. 5 125-pounder on our chart, and Borg was No. 14. But after Borg’s win, he catapulted up the list.
