UFC on FX 8: C.B. Dollaway replaced with Chris Camozzi

Chris Camozzi (19-5 MMA, 6-2 UFC) steps in for injured “The Ultimate Fighter 14” finalist T.J. Dillashaw in a fight against Cezar "Mutante" Ferreira (5-2 MMA, 1-0 UFC) at UFC on FX 8.

UFC on FX 8 will be held on May 18 at Arena Jaragua in Jaragua do Sul, Santa Catarina, Brazil.

Dillashaw has a three-fight win streak where in the recent UFC 158 event he knocked out Japanese Issei Tamura (knee and punches) at the beginning of round two.

Camozzi took part in the eleventh season of the Ultimate Fighter; he got into the house by defeating, after three hard-fought rounds, Victor O'Donnell. However he had to withdraw due to a broken jaw and was then replaced with Seth Baczynski. Though Camozzi was removed from the show, he fought at the The Ultimate Fighter: Team Liddell vs Team Ortiz Finale against James Hammortree. Camozzi won by unanimous decision victory. Camozzi has a four-fight win streak where in the last fight he managed to grab a victory over Nick Ring by split decision at the recent UFC 158 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

While Ferreira who is a black belt Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and a master in Capoeira has beat Sergio Moraes by unanimous decision at UFC 147 on June 23, 2012 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. That win made him the winner of The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil.
