The Ultimate Fighting Championship takes the Octagon to Ottawa, Canada for the first time on Saturday with UFC Fight Night 89: MacDonald vs. Thompson at TD Place Arena.
The event is headlined by a welterweight bout between title contenders Rory MacDonald and Stephen Thompson. The 26 fighters competing on the fight card officially weighed in on Friday.
Both MacDonald and Thompson weighed in at 170.5 pounds for their main event, which officially gets the green light after today’s weigh-in.
Not all fighters came in under their limits, however, as Randa Markos came in at 117.5 pounds for her strawweight bout. She will forfeit 20 percent of her purse to her opponent, Jocelyn Jones-Lybarger, who came in at 115 pounds.
