Arlovski is suspended for six months unless he gets clearance for a potential wrist injury. In the main event, the ex-UFC champ knocked out Antonio Silva in a rematch from their 2010 meeting in the now-defunct Strikeforce.
Two other fighters received six-month terms, as well. Efrain Escudero, who was outpointed by Leonardo Santos, needs clearance for his knee, and Piotr Hallman, who lost a decision to Gleison Tibau in the event’s co-headliner, needs clearance for his jaw.
UFC Fight Night 51 took place at Nilson Nelson Gymnasium in Brasilia, Brazil. The entire card streamed on UFC Fight Pass.
