Six years after taking a decision over Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, Ryan Bader[autotag] showcased his improvement with a third-round TKO victory.
The light heavyweight bout was the main event of the UFC Fight Night 100 event at Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo. It aired on FS1 following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass.
Bader (22-5 MMA, 15-5 UFC) dominated the fight from the jump, scoring with strikes on the feet to open up takedown opportunities. Every time Bader put the fight on the floor, he punished Nogueira (22-8 MMA, 5-5 UFC), battering him with punches and elbows.
Finally, at the 3:51 mark of Round 3, the referee had seen enough and called a halt to the action.
