Schedule for second annual Fight Week released in conjunction with UFC 162

anderson-silva-34.jpgWith another big Independence Day title fight on a pay-per-view and the latest UFC Fan Expo, fans had more than enough reason to head to Las Vegas next month.

With the UFC’s second Fight Week, they’ll have even more options to keep them busy all week.

UFC 162 takes place July 6 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The UFC Fan Expo takes place at Mandalay Bay Convention Center. And like its first “International Fight Week” in 2012 (just “Fight Week” this time), there are events throughout the city right through the fight card.

The UFC and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority have announced the details for the full “Fight Week,” which kicks off July 3 and will feature four days of events, culminating in the UFC 162 pay-per-view on July 6.

UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva headlines UFC 162 against top contender Chris Weidman.

But before that takes place, the UFC will feature four days of buildup.

Fans can attend open workouts with main-card fighters at the Wynn, attend the pre-fight press conference at the MGM Grand, head to parties at Aria and The Palazzo, attend free concerts, meet UFC fighters and more.
