Reminder: 'UFC Rising: Conor McGregor' premieres tonight on FOX Sports 1

As a reminder, a new special highlighting Irish star Conor McGregor premieres tonight.

“UFC Rising: Conor McGregor” debuts at 7:30 p.m. ET (4:30 p.m. PT) on FOX Sports 1. Replays air throughout the week (check local listings).

The 30-minute program showcases McGregor (16-2 MMA, 4-0 UFC), the brash Irishman who is in the main event slot at UFC Fight Night 59 in Boston – a city with deep Irish roots – against Dennis Siver (22-9 MMA, 11-6 UFC).

UFC Fight Night 59 takes place Sunday at TD Garden.

McGregor is unbeaten in the UFC and coming off a pair of first-round stoppages of Diego Brandao and Dustin Poirier. If he beats Siver, he has been promised a title shot against featherweight champion Jose Aldo.
