A 45-fight veteran, Torres, 31, recently received his UFC release on the heels of a first-round knockout defeat to rising talent Michael McDonald at UFC 145. Torres began his career 37-1, capturing the WEC bantamweight title in 2008 before relinquishing the strap in his fourth title defense. That 2009 setback against Brian Bowles signaled the beginning of a 3-4 stretch for the Hoosier, who posted a 2-2 record during his time with the UFC.
Moraes, 24, recently completed a two-fight stint with the Florida-based Xtreme Fighting Championships, outpointing Bellator and WEC vet Chris Manuel before knocking out Jarod Card four months later in his most recent in-cage appearance.
