TUF 16 coach Roy Nelson and former TUF winner Court McGee join MMAWeekly Radio today as well as plenty of debate about new TUF 17 coaches Jon Jones and Chael Sonnen.
Roy Nelson stops by to talk about the recent announcement that he’s on board for VADA testing ahead of his fight with Shane Carwin at the TUF 16 finale, and he also addresses drug testing as a whole in MMA.
Court McGee also joins the show to discuss his recent ESPN segment about his struggles with drug abuse and how he was able to overcome it and make it all the way to the UFC.
Finally today’s debate segments swirl around the TUF 17 announcement made on Tuesday:
- Jon Jones and Chael Sonnen will coach TUF 17 and fight in April 2013. Like, love or hate the idea?
- Does the future of the Ultimate Fighter hinge on how the ratings are for Jones vs. Sonnen?
- Dan Henderson says he should just go to “sh-t talking school” instead of training for fights. Does he have a point?
