Emelianenko’s headlining heavyweight confrontation with Jeff Monson -- going down Nov. 20 from The Olympic Stadium in Moscow -- will air live on pay-per-view at 7 a.m. ET/4 a.m. PT on both cable and satellite providers. Distributed by Integrated Sports Media, the event will be available for live viewing via iN Demand, DirecTV, DISH Network and Avail-TVN for a suggested retail price of $29.95.
“We’re excited to be bringing Fedor’s comeback to North American MMA fans,” said Integrated Sports Media President Doug Jacobs in the official release. “Everybody wants to know what the great Fedor has left, and Monson, who is an extremely dangerous veteran, figures to be up to the challenge of fighting Emelianenko in his backyard. If fans aren’t able to watch live, we will be offering same day and night replays so nobody has to miss the action.”
Also featuring a lightweight title conflict between Jose Figueroa and Daniel Weichel, as well as a welterweight showdown pitting Alexander Yakovlev against Juan Manuel Suarez Montesdeoca, the event marks the first fight for Emelianenko (Pictured, File Photo) in his homeland since a 2007 victory over Matt Lindland.
Additionally, the pay-per-view will showcase a 170-pound affair pitting Mairbek Taisumov against Joshua Thorpe and a middleweight bout featuring Arthur Guseinov and Xavier Foupa-Pokam.
