dam, the fight between rumble and phenom was so set up......just as le vs. the ax...... set up for TUF rio ..... i wonder how much they these guys to loose???

This wouldn't be allowed in a title fight if Johnson or anyone else didn't make weight. In a non-title fight, it's allowed for the fight to proceed as kind of a catchweight bout if the legal fighter agrees to continue. I know it's easy for me to sit in front of a keyboard and voice my opinion, while not having to prepare for a fight. But then again, I'm not paid to do so. That being said, I can't find an excuse for Johnson. If he lost too much weight all at once & it jeopardized his health, that's simply lack of preparation while he had adequate time. Also, this is reportedly not the first time Johnson failed to make weight. I believe this is the third.

Belfort agreed to fight Johnson anyway, providing he wasn't over the Light Heavyweight limit by fight time. Vitor will probably be 205 or over by the time of the bout. He just didn't want to fight a heavyweight. I've always liked & respected Vitor. It's to his credit that the bout wasn't cancelled.

I just don't understand that...the limit is 185, Johnson weight is 197, Rogan says "Johnson is overweight and has to weight no more than 205 by tomorrow"
anybody get it and can explain??
