overeem is and always has been an mma fighter. he DESTROYED hari the first time and lost the 2nd fight, which was expected. fact remains that hari wasn't even awake after getting hit once by overeem in HIS world. on the flip side, hari wouldn't survive 2 minutes in the cage with c-level heavyweights, let alone overeem. he'd lose 10/10 mma fights against overeem. thats why overeem is the better athlete and fighter. he can go to your sport where you're the king, and tool you. hari isn't anywhere near good enough to do the same to overeem.

The first time was under modified mma rules. Thats most likely why he lost.

alistair shouldnt have beat him the first time, hes a mma fighter, he jsut does k1 because he could beat them all fairly easy, badr should have never lost since hes purely a k1 fighter, alistair beat him at his own game, lets see badr step in mma ring?

uber needs to focus on lesnar. he got his work cut out for him.

@ werd yeah I agree I feel like Alistair gets given eash wins sometimes (no offense to his opponents sometimes its just the situation they're in not the actual opponent) in K-1. like in that last tournament he was in. He got such an easy route he fought a good guy who was way too small then a guy who was injured then Aerts who just had a freaking war with semmy schlit.

there would be no point for them to fight again unless you want to watch alistair get KOed. The only reason why he won the first time was because badr fought 3 fights in one night 2 weeks before fighting alistair. When badr was actually prepared Alistair didn't even land one significant strike!

I would love to see a third fight between these two. Doesn't look like it's very likely though, especially if Overeem signs with the UFC.
