As a champion, Jose Aldo's job is to fight the best competition in the world and defend his UFC featherweight belt.
Coming off his last win at UFC 129 over Mark Hominick, Aldo believed Chad Mendes would be his next opponent, but the UFC opted to give him Kenny Florian instead.
While the move was somewhat surprising to the champion, Aldo is more than happy to face Florian on Saturday night in Houston, and hopefully take some of his fans and recognition at the same time.
