He probably could, but he won't. There's no reason for him to. He already beat BJ Penn in his prime, and I don't think Frankie Edgar is as good as BJ was in his prime, and I don't even like BJ. He will either move up to Middleweight temporarily, or fight Silva at a Catchweight given the scenario GSP and Silva both win their next respective matchups. St-Pierre would win that fight via ground and pound, because Silva has trouble with wrestlers, and GSP tends to be a great wrestler.

Gsp I have so much respect for him. He's great for MMA. And a great fighter. But Anderson Silva is VERY BAD FOR HIS OR ANY OTHER FIGHTER UNDER LHW'S HEALTH!

I think Gsp have a chance of dominating anderson in the fight, but might get submitted like all the others and that friggin' triangle, honestly, i was a fan when anderson silva went on a killing streak but now its a bit of a annoyence. I didn't found out about fedors unbeaten rec. until a lil in mid of iceman's career. I wanted vitor to take the win badly, but it was unfortunate that he loss, c'mon ppl he is the phenom.
Cain Velasquez and Junior Dos Santos is the top heavy weights in the world in my opinion.
