Today’s press conference took place at at Copacabana Palace Hotel in Rio de Janeiro.

Silva, who’s been on the sidelines since a brutal leg break in a late-2013 title loss to champ Chris Weidman, discussed his upcoming fight with veteran welterweight and former Strikeforce titleholder Nick Diaz (26-9 MMA, 7-6 UFC).

Their highly anticipated bout takes place Jan. 31 at UFC 183, which airs on pay-per-view from Las Vegas.
