Video: Watch UFC Fight Night 46's Ilir Latifi yawn over late-notice changes

DUBLIN – Ilir Latifi has been through this before, just on the opposite end of the coin – and a lot more extreme.

Latifi (8-3 MMA, 1-1 UFC) today meets UFC newcomer Chris Dempsey (10-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) in a light heavyweight bout at UFC Fight Night 46. Dempsey took the fight on short notice when Tom Lawlor had to pull out with an injury.

But this type of short notice is nothing compared to what Latifi had for his UFC debut in April 2013. Back then, he stepped in for teammate Alexander Gustafsson to fight Gegard Mousasi on three days’ notice in his home country of Sweden.

So this? This type of thing is old hat. In fact, it’s so old hat for Latifi that the topic may be a little boring to him. Check out a big yawn early in the video interview above.

“I just do my best to prepare,” Latifi said.

Check out the video above for more from Latifi ahead of UFC Fight Night 46, which takes place today at The O2 in Dublin. The entire event streams in the U.S. on UFC Fight Pass.
