Kicking off Saturday’s UFC 162 pay-per-view main card is an intriguing bout between featherweight contenders Dennis Siver (21-8 MMA, 10-5 UFC) and Cub Swanson (19-5 MMA, 4-1 UFC).
While Swanson, who’s overcome injuries to post a four-fight winning streak, has garnered much of the attention ahead of the Las Vegas event, it’s probably a good time to remember some of Siver’s early work in the UFC.
Although the German fighter hasn’t posted a knockout win in nearly four years, his current 10-2 run includes some memorable spinning stuff back in 2009. In one of the bouts, against Nate Mohr, Siver kicked off his second UFC stint in thrilling fashion.
