Video: Dong Hyun Kim's spinning elbow KO of John Hathaway at TUF China Finale

In a scheduled five-round headliner, Dong Hyun Kim (19-2-1 MMA, 10-2 UFC) continued his move up the welterweight ranks with a violent spinning-elbow knockout of John Hathaway (17-2 MMA, 7-2 UFC) in the third round. Check out Kim’s post-fight interview, as well as his fight-ending blow, above.

The event streamed entirely on UFC Fight Pass, the UFC’s new digital network (where you can also watch an event replay), from The Venetian Macao’s CotaiArena in Macau.

Kim has garnered some early “Knockout of the Year” consideration for the violent blow, which earned him a “Performance of the Night” bonus. In his previous bout, he scored a brutal knockout of Erick Silva in a “KO of the Night” performance. The Korean has now won four straight fights.
