UFC officials are making sure fight fans in the U.K. and Ireland have ample opportunity to watch the organization’s upcoming show in Ireland.
Officials today announced UFC Fight Night 76 will be available free via UFC Fight Pass, the UFC’s digital streaming service, to viewers in the U.K. and Ireland. Additionally, Irelish fans can watch the main card on free-to-air channels Setanta Ireland and 3e, and in the U.K., the event broadcasts via delay on Pick.
UFC Fight Night 76, which reportedly sold out in 60 seconds, takes place Oct. 24 at 3Arena in Dublin. Outside the U.K. and Ireland, paid subscribers to UFC Fight Pass can watch the entire card there.
In the lightweight headliner, Irishman Joseph Duffy (14-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC), who’s riding a four-fight winning streak, looks to continue his climb up the UFC ranks when he takes on proven veteran and perennial contender Dustin Poirier (18-4 MMA, 10-3 UFC), who’s 5-1 with four knockouts in his past six bouts.
“The demand for the UFC’s return to the 3Arena in Dublin has been unprecedented, and we wanted to ensure all our fans would have the opportunity to see the action live,” UFC Vice President and General Manager of EMEA James Elliot stated. “By providing access across three fantastic platforms – Setanta Sports, 3e and UFC Fight Pass – we are ensuring maximum exposure of what will be an unmissable event for fight fans.”
