Round 1
Referee Jason Herzog will oversee this middleweight contest.
Steinbeiss opens up the bout with a grazing left hand. Kimmons
initiates the clinch and pushes his opponent in to the fence, but
Steinbeiss knees the thighs of his opponent. Kimmons circles away
and tries to get a single leg. The attempt goes by the wayside as
Steinbeiss gets control of the clinch again. With Kimmons pushed
into the cage, Steinbeiss lands more to the body and legs. Kimmons
manages to push Steibeiss away and the two men are free to
exchange. After a few moments the fight find its way back to the
clinch with the fighters trading spots against the cage. The round
expires. 10-9 Steinbeiss.
Round 2
Herzog starts the second frame and Kimmons immediately starts the
round attempting a takedown. Steinbeiss briefly goes down but
stands and pushes Kimmons into the fence. Kimmons is able to regain
position, forcing Steinbeiss again to fight in the clinch with his
back against the fence. It isn't too long before Kimmons gets a
takedown but steinbeiss is able to get back to the feet after
Kimmons has to pull out of an armbar attempt. On the feet
Steinbeiss is starting to throw combinations that are landing.
Kimmons again initiates the clinch. From there he is able to lower
his elevation and get a double leg takedown that makes the crowd
pop as he slams his opponent. Steinbeiss is forced to fight off his
back for the last 60 seconds of the round. 10-9 Kimmons.
Round 3
The third frame opens with Steinbeiss launching a jab-uppercut
combination that finds the mark. A teep kick lands to the belly of
Kimmons. Kimmons clinches and is forced to the ground as Steinbeiss
jumps for a flying triangle or armbar. Kimmons is able to
capitalize on the failed attempt and tries for a guillotine.
However Steinbeiss defends and finds his way. Back to his feet.
Kimmons executes another takedown and looks to work from half
guard. With 60 seconds remaining in the contest Kimmons is working
some short elbows to the face of Steinbeiss. Steinbeiss finds his
way to his feet with 15 seconds left but drops to a knee after
taking one. The round ends. 10-9 Kimmons.

Round 1
Referee Herb Dean oversees this lightweight attraction. Elkins set
the pace with a couple of missed combos. Elkins executes a
double-leg takedown. From there, Oilveira goes for a triangle and
then switches to an armbar. Elkins is toast as he falls to his back
as Oliveira stretches his arm. The tap comes at the 41 second
mark.
Through a translator, Oliveira says he was expecting to be taken down: "When I put in the triangle it was already done."
Round 1
Referee John McCarthy over sees this middleweight contest.
Massenzio gets a takedown off of a Stann kick. The former WEC
champion is able to get back to his feet but again is taken down
off of a leg kick. Massenzio is now working from the half guard of
Stann. Massenzio then goes to his back and is working a guillotine.
Stann is locked in deep but isn't in the full guard of Massenzio.
The Marine is able to get his head out and looks to work from top
position. Stann raises up to throw punches but nothing of
consequence lands on the New Jersey native. Stann stands and allows
Massenzio to follow him. In a scramble Massenzio is able to take
the back of Stann. The round expires with Massenzio in back mount.

Round 2
The second frame starts with Massenzio diving for the legs of
Stann. He is able to get a takedown and passes to half guard.
Massenzio is working to get to side but cannot and finds himself
back in full guard. Massenzio stands and grabs the head of Stann as
he tries to stand. Massenzio has another guillotine, but Stann gets
his head free. Now on top Stann is looking to work some offense,
but Massenzio isn't giving him much space to posture and throw.
Stann settles to pepper the body of massenzio. With 15 seconds
remaining, Stann does just enough to finish the round on top. 10-9
Massenzio.
Round 3
The final round starts with Stann defending the takedown. In a
scramble, Stann has a reverse triangle that Massenzio defends. Back
on the feet, Stann rocks his opponent, but Massenzio is able to get
a takedown. Massenzio was hurt but now is in top position. Stann
attempts a triangle but Massenzio shrugs it off. Massenzio stands
and then again executes a takedown. Stann again looks for the
triangle and this time it is there. Massenzio is forced to tap at
3:10 of the final round.
"I don't even know if I expected it. I have no one else to thank but Greg Jackson and Roberto Traven and my team," Stann told Joe Rogan in his post-fight interview. "I am ready to take on anyone in this division."
Round 1
Herb Dean oversees this light heavyweight contest. Pokrajac secures
a takedown to start the contest, but Irvin reverses the position to
get on top. Irvin then loses position for a moment, which allows
the Croatian to stand. On the feet the two men throw bombs with
Pokrajac getting the best of the exchange. Pokrajac gets a takedown
off of a flurry and lands in side control. Irvin turns away and
gives his back. Irvin taps at 2:29 after Pokrajac sinks in a
rear-naked choke.
Round 1
Referee Jason Herzog will oversee this welterweight turned catch
weight contest. Johnson paws the jab and catches Riddle in the eye.
After a very brief pause Riddle is ready to go. Johnson lands a
right low kick to Riddle's thigh. Riddle gets his first takedown of
the contest and looks to work for full guard. A Riddle elbow
glances the face of Johnson. A moment later, Riddle tries to pass
but Johnson gets back to his feet. Riddle bull rushes and gets the
action back on the floor. Riddle glances his foe with an elbow and
earns half guard. Johnson's hips rise quickly for a submission
attempt, but Riddle shrugs him off and lands some strikes from the
top position. The round concludes with Riddle in side control. 10-9
Riddle.
Round 2
The middle frame opens with Johnson taking the center of the cage.
Riddle lowers his elevation and gets Johnson on the mat again.
Riddle postures and lands a few right hands that causes the crowd
in the San Diego sports arena to cheer. Riddle gets to side and
digs a right knee in to his opponent's ribs. Johnson moves and gets
back to half guard. Johnson is able to get to his base and stands.
From there he pushes Riddle into the fence and goes for a single
leg. In a scramble, Riddle is able to get on top of Johnson and
take his back. Riddle stretches Johnson out and reigns down strikes
to Johnson's head. Jason Herzog has seen enough punishment and
calls the end at 4:29, awarding the TKO victory to Matthew
Riddle.
Round 1
Big John McCarthy has the job of overseeing this lightweight
battle. Volkmann looks uncomfortable on his feet early, but isn't
looking for an immediate takedown. The former Golden Gopher even
lands a kick to Kelly's thigh. Volkman finally shoots and gets his
takedown at the midpoint of the round. He is able to pass Kelly's
guard and gets to half where he lands an elbow to the temple. Kelly
briefly gets up, but the Minnesotan throws him back down. Kelly
gives his back, but Volkmann doesn't sink in hooks. Volkmann takes
mount and Kelly gives his back again. Volkmann removes his hooks
and looks content to ride rather than work from back mount. A
scramble ensues at the end of the round which sees Volkmann go for
an armbar . Its not too deep but the round expires. 10-9
Volkmann.
Round 2
Round 2 starts with Volkmann grabbing a Kelly kick for a takedown.
Kelly gives his back and Volkmann goes back to the riding position.
Kelly rolls to his back and Volkann gets the crucifix position.
Kelly frees the isolated arm and gives his back again. In a
scramble, Volkmann gets an armbar but fails to finish. The
Englishmen escapes and gets on top of his foe. Volkmann now has to
work from his back with Kelly trying to strike. Kelly stacks and
then stands. With the space, Volkmann shoots a single and gets back
on top. Volkmann passe the guard again and takes mount. Kelly gives
his back and Volkmann decides to keep his hooks in. Kelly reverses
and gets on top. The round expires with Kelly inside of Volkmann's
guard. 10-9 Volkmann.
Round 3
The final frame opens with the fighters exchanging until Volkmann
shoots in and executes a takedown. Volkmann has to fight off a
guillotine attempt and does. In a quick scramble for position,
Kelly manages to get on top. Volkmann is comfortable from his back
and uses a half butterfly to negate any offense until referee
McCarthy stands the men up. Back on the feet it isn't long until
Volkmann scores another double leg. On the ground "Christmas" is
working from side. Kelly fishes in a leg and gets to half which
allows him to stand. With under 90 seconds remaining Kelly senses
urgency and lands a hard jumping knee that looked to catch Volkmann
flush. The wrestler scored another takedown, which allowed him to
finish the round on top. Volkmann was hurt but never out of the
fight. 10-9 Volkmann.
All three judges see it 30-27 for Volkmann, the winner by unanimous decision.
Round 1
Lots of feints from both fighters early on. Gomi lands a straight
left to the body. Griffin opens up with his hands and connects with
the shoulder. Gomi paws out his jab and goes again to the body.
Griffin is tight in the pocket and Gomi drops him flat with a right
hook on the chin. Gomi hops on his back and swarms with punches
until referee Jason Herzog pulls him off at 1:04 of the opening
frame. Impressive knockout from Takanori Gomi.
Round 1
Ellenberger comes out firing and Howard backs him off with a
right-hand haymaker that is partially blocked. Ellenberger clinches
and attempts to trip Howard to the canvas, but fails. Howard scores
a knee to the head from the clinch and both fighters trade short
punches to the body. Ellenberger connects with two solid left knees
to the body. Referee Herb Dean asks for action as the crowd begins
to boo the clinchwork against the fencing. Dean separates them with
three minutes remaining in the round. Howard steps forward with
guns blazing, but Ellenberger defends and secures a powerful
double-leg takedown. Ellenberger works from the top in his
opponent’s closed guard. Howard briefly grabs the fence to advance
his position, but Ellenberger has none of it. Howard is now using a
butterfly guard while controlling the right wrist. Dean stands the
fighters. Ellenberger falls short on a front kick and Howard
connects with a low kick. Ellenberger lands a stiff jab and scores
another takedown. Ellenberger gets to half guard and connects with
an elbow before the horn sounds.

Round 2
Ellenberger blocks a headkick and gets hit with a right hand.
Ellenberger escapes danger by scoring a much-needed takedown.
Howard briefly looks for a triangle, and Ellenberger escapes and
passes to half guard. Two short, dragging elbows graze the face of
Howard. Another elbow finds its target before Howard is able to get
to full guard. Ellenberger is using a can opener to set up windows
to strike the face. Howard explodes to get to his feet, but
Ellenberger stuffs it and lands a hard right hand. Howard’s left
eye is showing signs of abuse. Howard gets to his feet and starts
to beat Ellenberger up against the cage with wild punches and a
knee to the chin. A winging-right hook lands for Howard and
Ellenberger gets a fast double. Ellenberger goes right back to work
on the left eye with right elbows. The eye appears to be swollen
shut. Ellenberger moves to half guard and lands left hands as time
runs out.

Round 3
Howard’s eye looks terrible to start round three, and he senses the
urgency. Howard lands a flying knee and jumps all over Ellenberger
early with punches, but the fighter with the lead weathers the
storm. Ellenberger jabs and patiently looks for an opening while he
circles away from Howard’s right hand. Ellenberger wastes no more
time and connects with a right hand and a fast shot that gets him
back on top in his opponent’s guard. Ellenberger lands right hands
to the body and then connects again to the left eye with an elbow.
Ellenberger goes to work with his left hand and Dean calls time to
have Howard’s eye checked. The fight is over after the doctor
checks the swelling. The official time of the stoppage is 2:21,
giving Jake Ellenberger the TKO victory.
Round 1
Munoz lands an overhand right after a long feeling-out process that
spans 45 seconds. Okami chases Munoz around the Octagon and has a
right hook partially blocked. Okami lands a straight left and sizes
up another that misses. Munoz retreats from the fence and whiffs a
head kick. Munoz reaches for a double instead of dropping levels,
and Okami easily defends the last attempt. Munoz lands a sneaky
takedown and Okami immediately stands. Munoz presses his foe into
the cage while kneeing the right thigh. Munoz works for a single
and Okami defends with an underhook. Okami gets off the cage with a
right hook. Munoz shoots a single and Okami easily defends it.

Round 2
Okami backs Munoz up to the fence and unloads a punching combo that
falls just short. Okami lands a kick to the body and shoots a
single that Okami sprawls on. Munoz releases and steps forward with
a sloppy fury of hooks from both hands that miss by a foot. Okami
briefly clinches and Munoz pushes him off. Munoz blasts Okami with
a left hook and the Japanese fighter collapses. Munoz rushes in and
Okami puts him on his back. Munoz scrambles and gets to his feet,
where he peppers the retreating fighter along the cage with
punches. Munoz shoots a single on the right leg and Okami stuffs
the takedown and his opponent’s momentum in one swoop. Munoz is
fighting for the single as Okami pushes the head down to defend.
Munoz tries to pick the left ankle and Okami continues to stay
upward. Okami works for a standing kimura in the round’s closing
moments, and Munoz trips him to the floor.

Round 3
Okami turns up the temperature to start the final frame. He rushes
forward and unloads his hands as Munoz is trapped against the
fence. A right hook buckles the knees and Munoz fires back and then
shoots. Okami defends and both fighters are back on their feet.
Munoz drops for another single and Okami hops free. Munoz steps
forward with his hands down and Okami lands a clean right hand
directly on the chin. Munoz stumbles to his back and scrambles for
another single that Okami has none of. Munoz is bleeding from a
small cut below his right eye. Munoz misses a spinning-back fist
and then connects with a right hand before failing on yet another
single. Okami pushes the head down and throws short right hands
that pepper the head of Munoz. Referee “Big” John McCarthy warns
Okami for hitting the back of the head with 10 seconds left in the
bout.

Round 1
Matyushenko glances a left hook off the head and Jones retaliates
with a low kick. A spinning-back kick lands for Jones and then he
trips Matyushenko to the floor. Matyushenko works on the right arm
from his back and Jones passes to side control. Jones gets a
crucifix and then lands 10 straight elbows to the head. Referee
Herb Dean steps in to call it and Matyshenko doesn’t complain.
Impressive victory for Jon Jones. The official time is 1:52 of
round one.
