Norman Parke UFC on FX 6

The UFC on Fox 7 fight card continues to grow with the addition of TUF The Smashes lightweight winner Norman Parke stepping into the Octagon to fight Jon Tuck.

UFC officials announced the bout late Wednesday night.

The bout will be Parke’s (17-2) first since defeating Colin Fletcher in the finale at UFC on FX 6 in December.

After making his way through the fights on the reality series by way of decision, Parke will look to get back to finishing fights when he steps in the cage with Tuck. Parke has won 15 of his 17 fights by either submission or knockout. He is currently in the midst of a seven-fight winning streak.

Tuck has also won seven-consecutive bouts, but they represent his full resume.

Coming off of a decision win over Tiequan Zhang at the UFC’s Chinese debut in November, Tuck is also a finisher that would like to get back to closing out fights.

The two will battle on the undercard in support of the UFC on Fox 7 main event pitting UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson against Strikeforce titleholder Gilbert Melendez.

UFC on Fox 7 takes place on April 20 at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif.
