Round 1: They touch gloves and immediately go at it  Barboza lands a right hand that hurts Cerrone.  Cerrone tries to take Barboza down.  Barboza shakes off the takedown attempt.  Barboza steps in with a jab.  Cerrone presses forward.  Barboza is the faster of the two at his point in the fight.  Cerrone lands a jab.  He lands a right hand and Barboza counters with a left.  Cerrone lands an outside leg kick.  He checks one as Barboza fires back.  Barboza lands a big combination.  Barboza delivers a spinning back kick to the body.  He lands his jab.  He goes to the body with a kick.  Cerrone checks a kick and lands a jab.  Cerrone lands a stiff jab that knocks Barboza down.  Cerrone pounces on him and sinks in a rear naked choke.  Barboza taps out.  What a turn of events.

“I definitely wish I could’ve gotten that win without taking so much damage from him at first. The shots he hit me with finally woke me up and I kind of snapped out of it. But I was finally able to hit him with some good shots and that last one sent him down. I scrambled to get his back and lock in the rear-naked choke and he wasn’t getting out of that.”
