Anthony Johnson took little time dispatching of Ryan Bader in the UFC on FOX 18 main event. Making his win even more impressive was that he did it on the ground.
The light-heavyweight bout headlined today’s UFC on FOX 18 main card at Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. It aired on FOX following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.
Bader (20-5 MMA, 13-5 UFC) dove for a takedown almost immediately after the opening bell, only to be stuffed by Johnson (21-5 MMA, 12-5 UFC). Once the takedown attempt failed, it was all over. Johnson attempted to move to Bader’s back. Bader tried to lock on a kimura, but Johnson moved to full mount and pounded away for the finish.
