UFC on FOX 15 staff picks: Massive favorite 'Jacare' Souza a unanimous pick over Camozzi

As a betting favorite of as much as 22-1, it’s no surprise that Ronaldo Souza is a unanimous pick from our MMAjunkie staff members.

All nine in the crew picked “Jacare” Souza (21-3 MMA, 4-0 UFC) to beat Chris Camozzi (21-9 MMA, 6-6 UFC) in their rematch Saturday at UFC on FOX 15. Camozzi took the fight on a week’s notice after Yoel Romero was injured.

UFC on FOX 15 takes place Saturday at Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. The main card airs on FOX following prelims on FOX and UFC Fight Pass. The other three fights on the main card have favorites from our staff, but at least are contentious.

Two staffers like former light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida (22-5 MMA, 14-5 UFC) to pull off a mild upset against Luke Rockhold (13-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC) in their middleweight main event. The winner could put himself in position to be the next to challenge for the 185-pound belt.

In a featherweight contenders bout, Max Holloway (12-3 MMA, 8-3 UFC) is the pick of five of nine staffers against Cub Swanson (21-6 MMA, 6-2 UFC), and in another close fight, betting-wise, Paige VanZant (4-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) is the choice of six of our nine in her strawweight bout against Felice Herrig (10-5 MMA, 1-0 UFC).
