UFC champ Ronda Rousey again lands cover of 'ESPN The Magazine'

ronda-rousey-espn-the-magazine-15.jpgUFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has landed the cover of “ESPN The Magazine” for the second time.

Rousey, who won the first women’s fight in UFC history back in February, is one of four athletes who will have her own cover as part of the magazine’s 15th anniversary edition.

The commemorative issues hit newsstands on Friday.

In addition to Rousey, the covers include Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper, Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III and Los Angeles Clippers power forward Blake Griffin.

It’s more high-profile attention for Rousey, an Olympian who will soon coach opposite Cat Zingano on “The Ultimate Fighter 18,” which marks the reality show’s debut on FOX Sports 1. They then meet in a season-ending title fight at the end of the calendar year.

The undefeated 26-year-old also was also one of a few athletes featured on the cover of an “ESPN The Magazine” Body Issue this past year.
