UFC Returns to Cincinnati for May 10 Fight Night Event on Fox Sports 1

No matchups have been announced for the event, which will take place at U.S. Bank Arena and air live on Fox Sports 1.

The UFC last set down in Cincinnati for UFC 77, which was headlined by Anderson Silva’s championship rematch with Rich Franklin. “The Spider” captured the UFC middleweight title from the American one year prior at UFC 64, knocking Franklin out with a barrage of strikes in just 2:59.

Although “Ace” lasted twice as long in their UFC 77 rematch, the Ohioan ultimately succumbed to Silva’s brutal standup attack, falling 67 seconds into the second period. The event drew 16,054 fans to U.S. Bank Arena for a live gate of $2.54 million.
