UFC Fight Night 85: Mark Hunt vs. Frank Mir video highlights

Mark Hunt scored another trademark walk-off knockout at UFC Fight Night 85, stopping Frank Mir with a thunderous punch in the opening round.

The heavyweight bout headlined the UFC Fight Night 85 main card at Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It aired on FOX Sports 1 following prelims on the same channel and UFC Fight Pass.

Hunt (12-10-1 MMA, 7-4-1 UFC) shrugged off the takedown attempts of Mir (18-11 MMA, 16-11 UFC) in the early stages of Round 1, before unloading with a right hand that dropped Mir and brought the fight to a halt at the 3:01 mark of Round 1.

Hunt had no doubt that his punch had done the trick, choosing to turn and walk away from his fallen foe rather than follow up with any shots on the ground. The referee agreed that Mir was done and Hunt had scored his ninth career stoppage win.
