UFC Fight Night 82 set for Pittsburgh's Consol Energy Center on Feb. 21

The UFC will visit the City of Bridges for the second time, as Pittsburgh’s Consol Energy Center hosts UFC Fight Night 82 on Feb. 21.

UFC officials today confirmed the new event to MMAjunkie following an initial report from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

The card will air on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass, though there are yet to be any bouts announced for the card.

The UFC previously visited Pittsburgh in June 2011 for UFC on VERSUS 4, which featured an incredible first-round knockout victory by heavyweight Cheick Kongo, who scored a shocking comeback win over Pat Barry.

The UFC has also visited Pennsylvania on two other occasions, as Philadelphia played home to UFC 133 in August 2011 and UFC 101 in August 2009.
