Following the UFC’s debut event in Seoul, South Korea, the promotion issued its standard $50,000 post-fight bonuses for Fight of the Night and Performances of the Night.
Doo Ho Choi, Seo Hee Ham, Cortney Casey, and Dominique Steele took the honors at UFC Fight Night 79: Henderson vs. Masvidal on Saturday at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena. The event streamed live on the UFC’s digital subscription service Fight Pass.

Opening the main card with his second consecutive knockout in the Octagon, Doo Ho Choi thrilled his home country fans by taking out Sam Sicilia in the first minute-and-a-half of the fight to earn one of the two Performance of the Night bonuses.
The other Performance bonus went to Dominique Steele, who set the tone for the show by slamming “Maestro” Dong Hyun Kim unconscious and dropping a couple elbows on him for good measure early in the third round of their fight.
Fight of the Night honors went to preliminary card fighters Seo Hee Ham and Cortney Casey. It was a tough scrap between the strawweights with Casey getting the better of Ham early on in the fight, but the home country fighter turned it to her favor in the second and third rounds to earn a unanimous nod from the judges. Each walked away with an extra $50,000 for their efforts.
