Uriah Hall has scored some incredible knockouts in his MMA career, but knocking out the highly regarded Gegard Mousasi at UFC Fight Night 75 may be the one fans remember for the rest of his career.
After a first round that saw wild grappling exchanges with both men put in danger, Hall (12-5 MMA, 5-3 UFC) scored with a jumping spinning back kick to the head of Mousasi (37-5-2 MMA, 4-3 UFC) to open Round 2. Mousasi was badly rocked by the shot and a follow-up flying knee to his face did him no favors in the recovery department.
Hall continued to pour on the damage with punches until the referee called a halt to the bout at the 0:25 mark of Round 2.
The middleweight bout was the co-main event of today’s UFC Fight Night 75 event at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. It aired on FOX Sports 1 following prelims on FOX Sports 2.
