The UFC returns to Nashville on Saturday for the first time in three years with an important light-heavyweight headliner.

Former 205-pound title challenger Glover Teixeira (22-4 MMA, 5-2 UFC) attempts to snap the first two-fight skid of his career when he takes on surging contender and local fighter Ovince Saint Preux (18-6 MMA, 6-1 UFC).

A number of other notable matchups fill the 13-bout card, which has a main card that airs on FOX Sports 1 following prelims on FOX Sports 2 and UFC Fight Pass.

Michael Johnson’s (16-8 MMA, 8-4 UFC) four-fight UFC winning streak in lightweight competition is the fourth longest active streak in the division behind Donald Cerrone (eight), Khabib Nurmagomedov (six) and Tony Ferguson (six).

Johnson’s eight knockdowns landed in UFC lightweight competition are tied for the second most in divisional history behind Melvin Guillard (13).

Johnson out-struck Joe Lauzon by a margin of 91 strikes at UFC Fight Night 26, the fifth largest disparity in a UFC lightweight bout.

Johnson has earned five of his eight UFC victories by decision.

Johnson has suffered seven of his nine career losses by submission.

Beneil Dariush’s (11-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) four-fight UFC winning streak in lightweight competition is the fourth longest active streak in the division behind Cerrone (eight), Nurmagomedov (six) and Ferguson (six).

Dariush has earned eight of his 11 career victories by stoppage. He’s earned three of his five UFC victories by submission.

Derek Brunson (13-3 MMA, 4-1 UFC) is 4-1 in his past five bouts after a 2-3 stretch from 2012-2014.

Brunson is one of five fighters in modern UFC history to register a knockout and submission victory in less than one minute each. Ronda Rousey, Joe Lauzon, Tom Lawlor and Andrei Arlovski also accomplished the feat.

Sam Alvey (26-6 MMA, 3-1 UFC) has earned all three of his UFC victories by first-round knockout.

Alvey’s three-fight UFC finishing streak is tied for third longest run of stoppages among active UFC fighters behind Rousey (six) and Luke Rockhold (four).

Dustin Ortiz’s (14-4 MMA, 3-2 UFC) past four UFC fights have ended in a decision with three split decisions. He’s 2-2 in those contests.

Ortiz has completed at least two takedowns against all five of his UFC opponents.

Jared Rosholt (12-2 MMA, 4-1 UFC) has earned three of his four UFC victories by decision. He finished an opponent for the first time in his previous octagon appearance.

Tom Watson (17-8 MMA, 2-4 UFC) has been taken down 28 times in his six-fight UFC career. He’s landed zero takedowns of his own inside the octagon.

Ray Borg (8-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC), 21, is the youngest of the 26 fighters scheduled to compete on the card. He’s also the youngest active fighter in the UFC flyweight division.

Hall has landed 52.5 percent of his significant strikes attempts in UFC middleweight competition, the third highest rate among active fighters in the weight class.

Sara McMann (8-2 MMA, 2-2 UFC) has alternated wins and losses over her four-fight UFC career. She suffered a loss in her last octagon appearance.

McMann is one of six fighters to have landed a knockdown in UFC women’s bantamweight competition.

Amanda Nunes (10-4 MMA, 3-1 UFC) has earned all three of her UFC victories by first-round knockout.

Nunes’ three knockout victories in UFC women’s bantamweight competition are tied with Rousey for the most in divisional history.

Nunes is one of two fighters in UFC women’s bantamweight history to earn back-to-back first-round knockout victories. Rousey is the other.

Gates’ stoppage of Montague at the 1:36 mark of Round 1 at the TUF 21 Finale is the fastest finish in UFC flyweight history.

Frankie Saenz (10-2 MMA, 2-0 UFC) enters the event on a career-high six-fight winning streak. He hasn’t suffered a defeat since May 2012.
