UFC Fight Night 48 staff picks: Bisping, Woodley near unanimous

It’s not unanimous, but Michael Bisping is an overwhelming favorite to get back on track from the MMAjunkie staff.

Seven of MMAjunkie’s writers and radio hosts are picking Bisping (24-6 MMA, 14-6 UFC) to beat Cung Le (9-2 MMA, 2-1 UFC) in the UFC Fight Night 48 middleweight main event.

In the night’s welterweight co-feature, Dong Hyun Kim (19-2-1 MMA, 10-2 UFC) meets Tyron Woodley (13-3 MMA, 3-2 UFC). Woodley is nearly a 2-to-1 favorite, and six of the eight MMAjunkie staffers believe he’ll top Kim.

The two other fights on the main card both see unanimous nods from our pickers. Everyone thinks UFC newcomer Brendan O’Reilly (5-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) will beat Zhang Lipeng (7-7-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC). And all eight are picking Jianping Yang (6-3-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) to top Ning Guangyou (3-2-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) in the delayed final of “The Ultimate Fighter: China.”

UFC Fight Night 48 takes place Saturday at The Venetian Macao’s CotaiArena in Macau. The entire card streams on UFC Fight Pass.
