ABU DHABI – The weigh-ins for UFC Fight Night 39 are in the books, and all 16 fighters on the card made weight for Friday’s event.

The weigh-ins took place at Cornish’s East Plaza in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

In the main event, heavyweights Roy Nelson and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira meet with each looking to get back in the win column and avoid first-in-their-careers losing skids.

Nelson, the Season 10 winner of “The Ultimate Fighter,” weighed in first and was 255.5 pounds. He has lost two in a row, but has never lost three straight and will be looking to avoid that against “Big Nog.” Nogueira has never lost back-to-back fights, and will need to beat Nelson to leave that career distinction behind for now. He weighed in at 238.

In the co-main event, featherweights Clay Guida and Tatsuya Kawajiri were on target for their bout. Guida, fighting at featherweight for the third time, was 146, while Kawajiri, making his second UFC appearance after a successful promotional debut, was 145.

Shortly before Thursday’s weigh-in event, the card lost a fight when Andrew Craig was ruled out due to tonsillitis. His bout with Chris Camozzi was scrapped from the preliminary card, taking the event down to just eight fights.
