A featherweight bout between Maximo Blanco and Felipe Arantes has been added to UFC Fight Night 36 in Brazil, the promotion announced on Friday evening.
The 145-pound tilt adds to the developing card, which takes place in Jaragua do Sul, Brazil’s Arena Jaragua on Feb. 15.
Blanco (9-5-1, 1 NC) comes off a loss by disqualification, where a knee to the head of a grounded Akira Corassani ended the late November fight. Blanco has seen better days in his MMA career than of late, dropping three of his last four contests.
Arantes (15-6-1, 2 NC) also comes off a loss, a close split decision to Edimilson Souza at UFC Fight Night 28 in September. The fighter is 2-2-1 since coming to the UFC, fighting exclusively in Brazil in all five of those outings.
UFC Fight Night 36 will be headlined by a middleweight fight between Lyoto Machida and Gegard Mousasi.
