DULUTH, Ga. – MMAjunkie was on scene for today’s official fighter weigh-ins for “UFC Fight Night 35: Rockhold vs. Philippou,” where all 24 fighters on the lineup made weight for Wednesday’s card.
In the main event, former Strikeforce middleweight champion Luke Rockhold (10-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) was on target for his fight against Constantinos Philippou (12-3 MMA, 5-2 UFC), who also made weight without issue. Both fighters are coming off losses that snapped lengthy streaks and are looking to get back in the 185-pound title picture.
In the co-main event, Lorenz Larkin (14-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) takes on Brad Tavares (11-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC), also at middleweight. Tavares is looking to expand his four-fight winning streak against arguably his toughest test yet in the former Strikeforce standout.
Today’s weigh-ins took place at Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Ga., just north of Atlanta. The same venue also hosts Wednesday’s event. The six-fight main card airs on FOX Sports 1 at 7 p.m. ET following four prelims on FOX Sports 1 and a pair of early fights on UFC Fight Pass.
