Round 1: Tavares lands a kick to the body.  Tavares looks to get the fight to the ground but Salas stuffs the takedown attempt.  Tavares lands a combination.  They clinch and do some dirty boxing before separating.  Tavares ducks under a left hand and powers Salas to the ground.  He elevates Salas, carries him to the center of the cage and slams him to the canvas.  Salas tries to stand but Tavares takes his back.  He flattens him out.  He applies a rear naked choke and Salas has no choice but to tap out.
