UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre is gearing up for his showdown with former Strikeforce middleweight champion Jake Shields at UFC 129 on April 30. The two will do battle before more than 55,000 screaming Canadians at the Rogers Centre in Toronto.
But did you know that St-Pierre has battled Wes Sims before. Well yes, he has, sort of.
A guest on MMAWeekly Radio when site founder Ryan Bennett and UFC veteran Frank Trigg co-hosted the show, St-Pierre competed in a freestryle rap-off loosely dubbed MMA Idol. Not only did GSP rap, laying some smack down on then future opponent BJ Penn, but he did it in English and then again in French.
