UFC 189 'Fight Motion' video with Conor McGregor's interim title victory in Vegas

Check out the “Fight Motion” super-slow-motion highlights of the UFC’s most recent pay-per-view event.

The UFC highlights captured the five main-card fights at UFC 189, which took place July 11 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The pay-per-view featured five stoppages and had fans, analysts and UFC brass alike all saying it may have been the best main card in the promotion’s history.

In the main event, Conor McGregor (18-2 MMA, 6-0 UFC) stopped Chad Mendes (17-3 MMA, 8-3 UFC) with a second-round TKO to claim the interim featherweight title, and he did it with roughly 3,000 of his countrymen in attendance after making the trip to Vegas from Ireland.

In the evening’s co-main event, Robbie Lawler (26-10 MMA, 11-4 UFC) stopped Rory MacDonald (18-3 MMA, 9-3 UFC) in the fourth round of a “Fight of the Night” war that UFC President Dana White said may have been the “fight of the ever.” Lawler defended his welterweight title for the first time with the win.

In addition, Jeremy Stephens (24-11 MMA, 11-10 UFC) stunned Dennis Bermudez (14-5 MMA, 7-3 UFC) with a third-round TKO; Gunnar Nelson (14-3-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) submitted Brandon Thatch (11-3 MMA, 2-2 UFC); and after a rough first round, Thomas Almeida (20-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) beat heavy underdog Brad Pickett (24-11 MMA, 4-6 UFC) with a flying knee in the second.
