'UFC 189 Embedded,' No. 2: Mendes to Conor McGregor 'You're so tough, dude.'

Next week is arguably the UFC’s biggest fight week of the year. And that means a jump start with “UFC 189 Embedded” and a preview of next week’s pay-per-view event.

The online series previews the card at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, including the main event: an interim featherweight title bout between Conor McGregor (17-2 MMA, 5-0 UFC) and Chad Mendes (17-2 MMA, 8-2 UFC), who answered the call when champ Jose Aldo pulled out earlier this week with an injury.

In addition, welterweight champion Robbie Lawler (25-10 MMA, 10-4 UFC) takes on Rory MacDonald (18-2 MMA, 9-2 UFC) in the co-main event.

In the second episode, McGregor and Mendes turn up the heat on their newly booked matchup by going toe-to-toe on a conference call with members of the media. But before that, Mendes heads out for some breakfast with teammate and Team Alpha Male founder Urijah Faber, and McGregor heads to L.A. to shoot some promo spots for FX.
