There wasn’t much time for anyone to get seriously hurt in UFC 184’s headliner, but a three-round strike-off in the night’s co-headliner produced a long medical suspension.

Women’s bantamweight Raquel Pennington is benched for six months – or until cleared by a doctor – for possible dual fractures of her hands.

The California State Athletic Commission today released medical suspensions for this past Saturday’s pay-per-view event to MMAjunkie following a records request. The fight card took place at Los Angeles’ Staples Center. Preliminary-card fights aired live on FOX Sports and UFC Fight Pass.

After three rounds, Pennington lost a split decision to Holly Holm, who remains undefeated and could be on the short list to face champ Ronda Rousey, who needed just 14 seconds to armbar challenger Cat Zingano.

As with the majority of fighters at UFC 184, Rousey and Zingano received mandatory seven-day suspensions. Five others received six-month terms for more serious injuries and need medical clearance by a doctor.
