UFC 173 Official Weigh-in Results: Title Fight Set; Hendo at 199 for 205-Pound Bout

The 24 fighters participating on the UFC 173: Barao vs. Dillashaw pay-per-view card on Saturday officially weighed in from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Friday.

UFC bantamweight champion Renan Barao puts his 32-fight winning streak on the line against Team Alpha Male’s T.J. Dillashaw in the main event. Undefeated Daniel Cormier takes on Dan Henderson in the co-main event with the hopes of earning a title shot.  ”Ruthless” Robbie Lawler faces Jake Ellenberger in a welterweight match-up with big implications in the 170-pound division.

After weighing in, Dillashaw was confident in why he would be the man to dethrone Barão, who hasn’t lost in his last 33 bouts. ”I’m hungry, I got what it takes, I believe in myself, and I ain’t scared.”

His words didn’t faze Barão, however, who said, “He’s like my past opponents; it makes no difference. I’m ready 100-percent to defend my belt.”

While none of the fighters had trouble making weight, Henderson came in well below the 205-pound limit for his bout with Cormier, weighing in at 199 pounds. Cormier stepped on the scale at 205 pounds even.
