UFC 133 Prelims on Spike Averages 1.4 Million Viewers for Broadcast

The UFC 133 prelims on Spike TV ended up pulling in an average of 1.4 million viewers, falling right in the middle of recent broadcasts on the cable network.

According to reports, the prelim show which featured Alexander Gustafsson vs. Matt Hamill and Chad Mendes vs. Rani Yahya, averaged 1.4 million viewers and pulled in a 1.0 rating overall.

The UFC 133 prelims were the No. 1 rated program among the key 18-49 male demographic for basic cable networks on Saturday night.

The 1.4 million average falls just short of the UFC 131 numbers which averaged 1.6 million viewers, but tops the UFC 132 showing that came in at 1.2 million viewers.
